The UOIT Faculty Association’s Annual General Meeting will take place on Tuesday April 19th 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in UA 2120.
If you’re interested in submitting a constitutional amendment, please complete a Constitution Amendment Form and return it to Wesley Crichlow no later than Monday April 4th, please remember to cc the office. You can review the current Constitution here.
A Notice of Motion Form outlining any proposed motions and rationale should be submitted by April 4th, 2016, to Gary Genosko, please also cc the office. This gives the membership advance notice and time to reflect on proposed motions.
Items for the AGM agenda include President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Faculty Representative elections, committee reports, the budget, motions and constitutional amendments.
If you are interested in nominating someone (or yourself) for President, Vice-President, Secretary, or Faculty Representative, please fill out this form, print it, sign it, and return it to the FA office (UA 2045) as soon as possible. There are instructions on the form for those interested in submitting their form electronically. If you submit your form on or before April 14th, you may also e-mail a candidate statement of 300 words to be circulated to the membership on Friday April 15th.
