Dear Colleagues,
We are looking for members to show support for bargaining by getting engaged in the process.
But first some updates:
We continue to try to get the University to the bargaining table. At this point it will be well into September before we are likely to be there with them.
In the meantime, we continue to prepare, particularly with the news of our successful application to consolidate (merge) the bargaining units into a single unit!
The merger also means that we are looking for additional members for both the Bargaining Team and the Collective Bargaining Committee from our Teaching Faculty Members. We do want to make sure that they are represented at those tables. Please click fill out this quick form if you are interested in getting involved by Wednesday September 5, 2018.
We are also looking for members from all three groups to participate in the Action Committee, which will be helping to mobilize support as we go into and throughout bargaining.
Your collective and individual support in this could be crucial, and I hope you will consider getting involved.
